There have been plenty of articles written about the ways in which cell phones endanger enterprise security. The ways in which companies are using cell phones to enhance their enterprise security have been less reported, but that doesn't mean that they don't exist. Smart phones are quickly becoming the security terminal of choice for many organizations as they keep IT staff on-call without having them driving to the office. When security engineers can solve problems and shut down attacks at 3 am without having to leave their home, security and employee quality of life both benefit.
