Nokia envisions very smart phone device

Imagine a phone that's smart enough to roam and find the most stable, economical wireless network to work off from. That's exactly what Nokia is busy working on-- pushing technology development way past its core handset product base and envisioning cellular technology features that few other vendors have even thought of. The vendor is building WiFi into hybrid phone/PDAs and is working with Intel on using a microwave technology it's calling mobile WiMax. It's also investigating technology that can make a handset into a mobile TV set. Article
