The AT&T Tilt is unquestionably one of the most powerful Windows Mobile devices around. Unfortunately, it's also one of the buggiest. Unlike its unlocked brother, the HTC TyTn II, the AT&T branded version sometimes pauses for a few seconds or more before performing a simple task--like switching from portrait to landscape mode. Luckily, AT&T and HTC have finally made a firmware update available that addresses many of these issues. Software version 1.62.502.0 addresses a number of bugs like the aforementioned freeze-ups, tones for the slide-out keyboard and issues with both the touchscreen and Bluetooth features. To download the firmware update, head over to HTC's website.
